We're bouncing into the Easter holidays this week and we have to say, nothing says Easter like a visit to see the Easter bunny! Whether your little ones love an egg hunt or fancy taking on one of the many trails going on across the county, our friends from Kent Attractions have rounded up a handy list to keep the whole family busy.
With so many activities taking place over the Easter holidays here’s a useful round-up of some of the best places to see the Easter bunny in Kent, where to do your traditional egg hunt and some alternative Easter holiday fun.
From traditional Easter egg hunts to more unusual colourful carrot trails, there’s something for everyone in Kent this Easter.
Find out which bunnies are competing in the egg-olympics at Hall Place & Gardens and discover what the funny bunny has been up to on the Easter hunt at Chiddingstone Castle. Great Comp Garden has an Easter bunny hunt and at Hever Castle & Gardens family fun includes a castle bunny hunt, colourful carrot trail and Easter bonnet making. In Rochester at the Guildhall you can take part in an Easter egg trail around the museum’s collections or make a mosaic egg. Upnor Castle and Rochester Castle have Easter heritage trails and family craft activity and at Eastgate House you can find the hidden white rabbits.
Follow the Easter egg trail at Mount Ephraim Gardens or the Easter themed trail at Belmont House & Gardens. At Brogdale Collections Faversham miniature railway will be running train rides all Easter weekend and the tractor trailer will take the children up into the orchards for an egg hunt trailing through the blossoming trees. Bandit the naughty bunny has been hiding eggs at Betteshanger Park, and there’s an Easter themed family day at Dover Museum.
If cute bunnies and chocolate eggs aren’t your thing then there are plenty of other options to explore in the Kent this school holiday. Dreamland in Margate is hosting Camp Bestival this Easter with a cool family festival vibe with live music, rides and entertainment for all the family including the world’s biggest bouncy castle! The takeover will culminate in a Camp Bestival Easter Party on Sunday 21st April, which is a day of family friendly DJs, live music and workshops for big and little kids.
