Sissinghurst Castle Farmhouse is a magnificent, recently-restored Victorian Farmhouse on the National Trust estate known as Sissinghurst Castle, 100m from the historic garden gate.
We have 7 elegantly appointed bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and with fabulous views across the Sissinghurst estate, some towards the iconic Elizabethan Tower. Delicious Kent Breakfasts using local produce and homemade jams and marmalades are served. Guests can enjoy tea and cake on arrival in the sumptuous living room or in the garden looking across to the ancient woodland. Enjoy a lovely walk across the estate on a summer's evening to The Three Chimneys.
Guests are very centrally located for discovering The Garden of England whether it is the vineyards and restaurant at Chapel Down, Tenterden or following the footsteps of Vita Sackville-West from Knole to Sissinghurst or exploring the other castles of Kent and Sussex, Dover, Hever, Leeds, Bodiam and Scotney.
There are excellent links to London via Staplehurst station, and nearby Michelin star restaurants, Apicius and the West House and cosy English pubs to suit all tastes.
There is a lift to the first floor.
