This quaint Kent holiday home is a charming weather boarded cottage situated within minutes of the vibrant town of Whitstable. The pretty self-catering accommodation is arranged on two floors of this lovely period building with an eclectic mix of antique and traditional furnishings complementing the pretty original artwork displayed throughout the cottage.
The charming sitting room has a large attractive window overlooking the street below, perfect for people watching. Light and airy this is a lovely room and ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, antique shopping or just exploring the lovely town of Whitstable. Decorated in neutral colours, the cottage takes its name because the best selling author Margaret Pemberton has penned many of her 40 novels within the cottage, some of which are on the shelves for you to enjoy. Interesting artwork by a local artist, table top lamps and soft comfortable sofas complement the décor with a feature fireplace.
The cosy dining area is tastefully presented with farmhouse wood table and chairs ideal for a cosy meal in for two. The bedroom has a romantic bed and pretty linen making this a really pleasant place to stay.
