Go Ape is the UK’s number one forest adventure. Days out at Go Ape are about living life more adventurously, having fun with friends and family and getting in touch with your inner Tarzan (he’s in there, we promise).

There’s no greater rush than the great outdoors, so whether your Tribe is a stag do, birthday party, corporate event or simply a day out with the kids, Go Ape make their courses as fun and as accessible as possible.

Go Ape Bedgebury is an ideal day out if you’re looking to make unforgettable memories with the family. Alongside the classic Go Ape Challenge course for over 10s, there sits an Adventure course for explorers as little as 1m. You can make a day of it around the forest as well, with fun Gruffalo trails, wild adventure play areas and a whole arboretum to discover together. Take a look at the adventures Go Ape has to offer to see which one is ideal for you and your Tribe.

Challenge Course

The classic and original Go Ape experience for those over 10 years of age and 1.4m tall. You’ll be briefed for safety before you fly down zip wires, leap off Tarzan Swings and tackle wobbly crossings up to 13m off the ground. At height, you’re guaranteed to witness the breath-taking scenery of the pinetum while you’re enjoying the course. You’ll share 2 - 3 hours of fun and adventure going ape in the trees with your pri-mates.

Minimum Age - 10yrs

Minimum Height - 1.4m (4ft7")

Maximum weight - 20.5 stones (130kg)

Prices

Challenge Course (10-15 year olds*) - £25

Challenge Course (16-17 year olds) - £33

*Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult. One adult can supervise two baboons (children aged 10-15). 16-17 year olds can be unsupervised up in the trees, but cannot supervise others.

Adventure Course

Uncover a Tree Top Adventure for Junior Tarzans. No one loves adventure more than kids, so Go Ape have designed a Tree Top Adventure exclusively for little monkeys. The Adventure course is aimed at Tiny Tarzans aged between 6 and 12 years old, but anyone over 1m tall is able to take part if they’re feeling adventurous enough. They’ll experience their very own wobbly crossings, rope ladders and zip wires on a course up to 6m off the ground. Their adventure will last for approximately 1 hour, so it’s the perfect addition to any family trip to the forest.

Minimum Age – N/A

Minimum Height - 1m (3ft3")

Maximum weight - 20.5 stones (130kg)

Prices

Tree Top Junior - £19

*Under 6’s must be accompanied by a participating adult. We recommend a 1:1 supervision ratio during a child’s first visit. Over 6’s can be supervised from the forest floor at a ratio of 1:8.

Take a peek at what the Adventure course is all about and find out why kids are 'going ape' over the latest adventures. Watch our short video...

How to spend the 2022 Bank Holidays in Kent

2022 is going to be a good year for bank holidays as we’ve been given an extra one to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, by getting a bonus holiday day on 3rd June. With all those long weekends that we’ve got to use, Kent is coming out swinging for those who want entertainment, secluded escapes, to a taste of Kent right on their doorstep.
