Stone Bay is a beautiful, quieter location, best known for rock-pooling and popular with families.

The promenade leads on to the town of Broadstairs, and the main beach at Viking Bay.

  • Seasonal Lifeguards: Weekends & Bank Holidays only 28 May – 3 July / Daily 9 July – 4 September 10am-6pm
  • Seasonal Toilets: Open from 2nd April 2022
  • No Dogs are allowed on this beach from 1st May until 30th September, between 10am - 6pm.

Be Beach Safe. This means checking the weather and the tides, keeping an eye on your family, and not using inflatables. In an emergency, call 999 for the Coastguard. 

Please remember, if you are visiting our beaches and bays, that some COVID-19 restrictions are still in place. Please 'Respect, Protect and Enjoy' and leave only your footprints.
