Where Memories Meet is a charming tearoom located in the historic village of Wateringbury in the heart of the Kent countryside. Housed in a characterful historic listed building, its unique ambience is enhanced by the quirky antiques/vintage shop that’s found in the basement below complete with its own spring-fed well.

The building is a short walk from a number of interesting sights including the Victorian train station, the picturesque river and a breath-taking country walk. After working up an appetite, treat yourself to the pomp and ceremony of a traditional English Afternoon Tea served with vintage china and embroideries.  As all the scones, cakes, tartlets and finger sandwiches are freshly prepared, you’ll need to book in advance.

Having sampled their fine loose leaf teas and a bite to eat, why not pop downstairs to unearth a bargain.
